When is the celebration of life?

We will honor and celebrate Welton Wyrick Jr.’s life on July 5th and July 6th, 2026 in Los Angeles, California. Details are below.
We ask that you wear shades of blue and white, please refrain from black clothing.
Whether you know him as Welton, Mr. Wyrick, Uncle Welton or Grandpa we welcome you from every stage of 87 years of life!
Where will the celebration sites be located?

Candlelit Celebration of Life:
Shoreline Aquatic Park near the water on July 5th, 2026 at 7PM.
Shoreline Aquatic Park, 200 Aquarium Way, Long Beach, CA 90802.
Bring blankets or lawn chairs you’d like to sit on. Candlelights will be provided.
Gravesite Homegoing Ceremony:
Rose Hills Memorial Park, next to his wife Gailye H. Wyrick, on July 6th, 2026 at 3PM.
Rose Hills Memorial Park & Mortuary, 3888 Workman Mill Rd., Whittier, CA 90601.
We will be in the Garden of Benevolence, Curb 9. Please arrive 15 minutes early, this will be a 30-minute ceremony.
